I recently started taking Xtandi 40mg Tablets for my prostate cancer treatment. The medication has been effective in slowing down the growth of cancer cells, but I've been experiencing some side effects that are concerning me. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. How have you managed the side effects, and have you found any tips or tricks that help? I've been struggling with fatigue and muscle pain, which are affecting my daily routines. Also, I'm a bit worried about the more urgent side effects, like high blood pressure and electrolyte problems. Has anyone else experienced these, and how did you handle them? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I've been on Xtandi for about six months now. The fatigue and muscle pain were tough at first, but they've gotten better over time. I found that regular, light exercise helped a lot with the muscle pain, but make sure your doctor approves—regularly talk to your doctor.

Be mindful of your diet and hydration. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals and staying hydrated helped with the upset stomach and muscle pain. Also, making your diet more alkaline might be worth trying. For example, adding more citrus (avoiding juices if you have an ulcer) to your diet, or eating more leafy greens.

I took this for a while and had to stop due to severe headaches. It felt like they came out of nowhere and they were really, really bad—the kind of headaches that made you feel like your brain was being squeezed. It's so important to report side effects to the FDA and your doctor.

Xtandi symptoms are no joke. Be super careful if you feel weak or out of balance. You don't want to fall and break a bone—the risk is too high.

I've had a few episodes of dizziness and confusion, which are really concerning. I'm going to speak with my doctor about adjusting my dosage or trying a different medication. I also had a seizure a couple of years ago, and this is a huge sign of something wrong.

I've been on Xtandi for about three months and I'm feeling a lot less anxious since I started. I've also been taking gingko biloba as an herbal remedy, and it seems to be helping with some of the fatigue. I don't want to give false hope, but it's worth a shot—just run it by your doctor.

I've been taking Xtandi for a year now, and while the side effects were tough at first, I've found that they've become more manageable over time. Regular check-ups with my oncologist have been crucial in monitoring my blood pressure and electrolyte levels.

I haven't had any major issues with Xtandi, but I did experience some hot flashes, which were really uncomfortable. My doctor suggested dressing in layers and using a fan during the day. It might sound silly, but it really helps!
