I recently had a minor surgery where Xylocaine-Mpf 2% Inj, 10ml was used as a local anesthetic. It worked wonders for numbing the area, but I did experience some side effects that I wasn't fully prepared for. Anyone else have any experience with this? I'm curious about other people's experiences and any tips for managing the side effects. The doctor briefed me on the urgent side effects, but I didn't realize how common some of the less severe ones could be. For instance, I had a bit of a metallic taste in my mouth and felt unusually hot for a while. Nothing too serious, but it was definitely noticeable. Has anyone else dealt with similar issues? And how long did they last? The injection site itself was fine, but the overall experience left me wanting to know more about what to expect in the future.

I've had it for dental work and it was fine. No side effects, but I did feel a bit lightheaded afterwards.

I got this for a dental procedure and it was amazing. No pain at all. I didn't experience any side effects either, so I guess I got lucky.

I've used it a few times for minor surgeries and never had any issues. I think it's a great anesthetic, but I agree, the metallic taste sucks.

I've had Xylocaine-Mpf before and the metallic taste was the worst part for me too. It went away after a couple of hours, but it was pretty unpleasant while it lasted.

I had a major reaction to it during a dental procedure. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. Scared the hell out of me. I'd stick with Novocain from now on.
