I've been taking Zenpep 25,000 IU capsules for a few months now to help with digestion issues related to my pancreatitis. Overall, I've seen significant improvement in my ability to absorb nutrients, but I've also been experiencing some side effects. I've had mild constipation and diarrhea, but I've also noticed some joint pain, which worries me. I've read about the potential for serious side effects, but I want to hear from others who have had similar experiences. What side effects have you all dealt with, and how did you manage them? How long did it take for your body to adjust to the medication? Are there any tips for reducing the side effects while still getting the digestive support from Zenpep?

I finally got my doctor to prescribe me a lower dose of Zenpep, and it's been a game-changer. Less side effects and it still works great for me. Only downside is you may have to wait longer for it to take effect.

Don't forget to report your side effects to the FDA if they are severe. It helps them track issues and potentially improve the medication for everyone.

I had severe stomach pain when I started, but it went away after a few weeks. Just be patient, your body needs time to adjust. Take it slow and steady.

I've been on Zenpep for a while and have only had mild side effects, mostly just a bit of gas and constipation. I take it with my largest meal of the day and it has been manageable. If you are taking with a meal, try taking with the largest to spread the load.
