I've been taking Zestril 40mg Tablets (Lisinopril) for a few months now, and while they've helped manage my high blood pressure, I've experienced some side effects like a persistent cough and dizziness. I've talked to my doctor about it, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences. How did you handle them? Are there any tips or tricks to manage these side effects? I'm also worried about the more severe side effects mentioned in the leaflet. Has anyone else experienced anything serious? It's always good to be informed and prepared, so let's discuss our experiences and advice for managing side effects.

I've been on Zestril for years and the persistent cough was annoying at first, but it eventually went away. Just make sure to stay hydrated and talk to your doctor if it gets worse. It's also essential to monitor your potassium levels, as high potassium can be dangerous. I use a home test kit and keep my doctor in the loop. Some of the severe side effects scare me, but I've never experienced them.

I've been on Zestril for a few months and have experienced some mild stomach pain. Some days it's more severe. My doctor has been monitoring me closely. I've also heard that some people get a persistent cough. I hope it goes away for you soon!.

I've been on Zestril for a few years now and I've had no issues. The side effects even stopped after a while. My doctor said that was a good sign. It's great to hear that others are managing as well, but I can understand being worried about the severe side effects. Just stay vigilant and keep your doctor informed. Trust me, the benefits of managing high blood pressure outweigh the risks of side effects.

I've been on Zestril for a while and it has been smooth sailing. I did not get any side effects at all. I just wish the pill was smaller, haha. I've also been drinking plenty of water and eating right.

I noticed some lightheadedness when I first started taking Zestril, but it went away after a few days. I've also had some mild stomach issues, but again, those have gone away. I'd say give it a few weeks to settle in. If you have any concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor. The benefits for your health are worth it.

Been on Zestril for about a month now. The dizziness is tough, but I've found that drinking plenty of water and eating small, frequent meals helps. But man, the persistent cough is annoying. Anyone have any tips for dealing with that one?

I've been on Zestril for a few weeks now and the dizziness is tough, but I've found that drinking plenty of water and eating small, frequent meals helps. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I've been on Zestril for a few years now and the persistent cough is annoying, but it's manageable. It wasn't fun at first but I found that the cough went away after a few weeks. I also monitor my blood pressure regularly and make sure to stay hydrated. It's all about managing the side effects and staying in touch with your doctor.

I'm glad you're informing yourself! It's really important to know the risks, especially the severe ones. I've been on Zestril for a while and didn't have any bad issues until last week, I had a random coughing spell so I'll see how long it goes on for. I'm going back to the doctor this week to chat about it.

Cough is annoying but not the worst ever. I've tried a few things and nothing really works. Stay hydrated! What I don't get is how some people don't experience any side effects at all. Lucky! I've been on it for a month now and just dealing with it, but I'm curious how long it'll last.
