I've recently been prescribed Zilbrysq 32.4mg/0.81ml Pf Syr Inj for my generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). It's been a game-changer in terms of managing my muscle weakness, but I've also experienced some side effects. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm curious to know how others are coping with the side effects, especially the more urgent ones like allergic reactions or infections. Also, does anyone have tips for managing the common side effects like irritation at the injection site or upset stomach? I'd love to hear your stories and advice!

For those who are new to Zilbrysq, it's a daily subcutaneous injection that works by blocking a specific part of your immune system called the complement system. This can cause muscle weakness in gMG. While it's been helpful, the side effects can be quite challenging. I've had a few cold symptoms and some irritation at the injection site, but nothing too severe so far. I'm just trying to stay vigilant about the more serious side effects, like signs of infection or pancreatitis.

If you've had any positive or negative experiences with Zilbrysq, I'd love to hear about them. Let's share our knowledge and support each other! Remember to consult your doctor with any medical advice or concerns you have about side effects. More info at https://www.fda.gov/medwatch.

I've had to switch to a different medication after experiencing severe stomach pain and vomiting. Be careful out there, folks, and stay in touch with your doctor!

Zilbrysq helped me a lot with my gMG symptoms, but I've had to watch out for infections. I had a UTI a few weeks back, and it was a real scare. Always be on the lookout for those signs of infection. Fever, chills, sore throat... take them seriously.

This thread is really helpful. I just want to add, keep a diary or log of how you feel. It can help you and your doctor track what’s working and what’s not.

Remember, everyone’s body reacts differently to medication. What works for one person might not work for another. Always discuss with your doctor.

Had some hives and itching that freaked me out at first, but it was just an allergic reaction to the injection. Switched to a different brand and it got better. Sometimes it's just about finding the right fit.

My experience has been mostly positive, but I did get a painful rash once. I’d say it’s a trade-off, but one you have to be ready for.

I’m so glad I found this thread! I just got prescribed Zilbrysq and was a bit nervous about the side effects. Thanks for the heads-up on the more urgent symptoms.
