I was recently prescribed Zirgan 0.15% Ophth Gel for herpes simplex keratitis. I've been using it for a few days now, and while it seems to be working, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone else experienced any issues like eye irritation or blurred vision? I'd love to hear from others who have used this medication. Also, if anyone has any tips on how to apply the gel correctly, I'd appreciate the advice. I want to make sure I'm doing everything right to avoid any complications.

I've been using Zirgan for a week now, and I haven't had any major side effects yet. Just a little bit of eye irritation, but nothing too bad. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before applying it.

I've heard that some people experience more side effects if they already have sensitive eyes. It might be worth mentioning to your doctor if you're prone to irritation.

I think the worst part about Zirgan is the application process. It's really tricky to get the right amount in your eye. Any tips?

Make sure you don't get any of the gel on your skin or it can really burn. Also, avoid wearing contacts while using this. It's a bit of a hassle, but better safe than sorry.

If you have any questions about side effects, talk to your doctor. They can give you the best advice tailored to your situation. Don't self-diagnose!

Anyone else feel like they're seeing double when they first put it in? It's weird, but it goes away after a few minutes. Weird but true!

I didn't have any issues with Zirgan, but I did have to use it for a full two weeks. Make sure you finish the entire course, even if your symptoms go away.

This stuff is a lifesaver. I had a nasty infection, and Zirgan cleared it right up. Just be careful and follow the instructions.

I switched to Zirgan after trying another treatment that wasn't working. It took a while to kick in, but it finally did the trick. Stick with it if you can.

I had a really bad reaction to Zirgan. I woke up with my eyes swollen shut and had to go to the ER. Definitely call your doctor if you experience any severe symptoms.
