I've been prescribed Zofran 8mg Tablets for nausea during my chemotherapy sessions. I am relieved to have something to help with the vomiting. The doctor explained that it works by blocking serotonin. I’m more concerned about the possible side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone had any issues with allergic reactions or serotonin syndrome? I want to be prepared if something comes up. Also, I’m interested in hearing about any common mild side effects and how others have managed them. I am really hoping that this stuff works for me, but of course, I’m trying to brace myself for everything.

The constipation was the worst for me. It was so bad that I ended up having to go to the hospital. Just be aware and keep an eye on things. Not worth the risk for me.

I think the worst part about Zofran is the dizziness. I had to be really careful when I was on it, especially since I was already feeling weak from the chemo. It's definitely worth it if it helps with the nausea, but be prepared for some dizziness.

I had a terrible experience with Zofran. I ended up with severe constipation and it was awful. My doctor switched me to something else after that. Just be careful and listen to your body.

Probably won't be having anything to drink tonight. Just pop that Zofran and hope for the best.

I never had any serious side effects, but I did get really sleepy. It was tough to stay awake during the day, but it was manageable. Just make sure to take it as prescribed and talk to your doctor if you have any questions.

I had a mild reaction to Zofran—just some dizziness and a bit of a headache. But honestly, it was worth it to not have to deal with the nausea. Just make sure to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I had a fast heartbeat and dizziness which are both listed as side effects. I need this drug during my chemo. I don’t want to risk the nausea but I’m scared of the heart issues. Has anyone else dealt with this?

The rash I got from Zofran was terrible. It was all over my body and it itched like crazy. I had to stop taking it and switch to something else. It was really frustrating because I needed something to control the nausea.

I took Zofran after my surgery and it helped a lot with the nausea. No serious side effects for me, just a bit of a headache. Always make sure to stay hydrated and take it as prescribed.
