Zyprexa 5mg Tablets side effects, really scary side effects and helpful tips of someone who has taken them?
I've been prescribed Zyprexa 5mg Tablets to manage my bipolar disorder. The medication has been helpful in stabilizing my mood and reducing hallucinations, but I've been quite concerned about the possible side effects. I understand there are serious side effects like neuroleptic malignant syndrome, and I've been wondering if anyone else has experienced these or knows more about them. Additionally I've been wondering- were there any non-serious side effects or benefits you've experienced or know of? How has this impacted your life?

Zyprexa has been a lifesaver for me. I was dealing with severe depression and hallucinations, and this medication has helped me get my life back on track. I've experienced some weight gain, but it's a small price to pay for the improvement in my mental health.
Hey, I've been on Zyprexa for a couple of years now. The weight gain and increased appetite were tough at first, but I've managed them with diet and exercise. I've also experienced some dizziness, but nothing too severe. I'm just excited for when the generic olanzapine with the same dose strength should be approved, it's cheaper in the US. It's crucial to stay in touch with your doctor and monitor your blood sugar levels regularly.
I have had some heart problems and didn't feel too comfortable taking zyprexa and felt some weird eye and vision issues. Has anyone else had any medical conditions that affected their ability to take this medication long term?
I was afraid to take it at first. My GP said it would help with my schizophrenia but that i should expect some side effects. I was worried about the weight gain but I think my experience was quite mild, and it's been totally worth it to get my symptoms under control. for me it's been a really positive transition. I'm still afraid of the side effects and would like to know more about the serious ones
