Zyprexa Relprevv 210mg Inj: My Experience with PDSS and Other Side Effects
I was recently prescribed Zyprexa Relprevv 210mg Inj for bipolar disorder. My doctor explained that it helps balance brain chemicals, but the Post-Injection Delirium-Sedation Syndrome (PDSS) was a bit concerning. I have to stay at the clinic for 3 hours after each injection, and I need a ride home. I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience. How do you handle the waiting period and driving concerns? What other side effects have you experienced, and how do you manage them? I'd love to hear from anyone who has been on this medication for a while.

I'm just starting this medication, have any of you found anything that really helps with the side effects? I'm really struggling with the dizziness and muscle stiffness...
I had a bad reaction to the injection as well. The nurse had to call the doctor before I was released. I had itching, rash, and my throat felt tight. I avoided the second dose and went back to my oral meds.
I've had some crazy dreams since starting this, side affects be damned!
I've been on Zyprexa Relprevv for about a year now. The PDSS was scary at first, but my clinic has been great about monitoring me. The biggest side effect for me has been weight gain, but it's worth it to keep my symptoms in check. Definitely worth managing.
I've been on this medication for two months and the first time I took it I had to be admitted to the hospital because of the PDSS. It was terrifying and I was in a deep sleep for hours and I couldn't move. The staff had to call 911.
I'm on Zyprexa Relprevv 210mg along with 150mg geodons and it's been a game-changer for my schizophrenia. The injection schedule is tough, but the stability it provides is worth it. Side effects are manageable, so far.
I don't know if I can deal with this side effect. I feel like I'm in a complete haze and my muscles are stiff all the time. I don't know if I should call the doctor, my prescription is still new
