I've been struggling with knee osteoarthritis for a while now, and my doctor recommended Hyalgan injections. The idea of injecting a gel-like substance into my knee to help with pain and movement seems a bit daunting, but I'm hoping it will improve my quality of life. Has anyone else tried Hyalgan? I'm curious to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. I'm looking for insights on how effective it is, how long the effects last, and any side effects you may have encountered. If it's worth it, I might be willing to give it a shot (pun intended).

I've never really heard of Acyclovir being given as a shot until my friend had to take this injection, and he was wracked with questions about it. It seems like an intense treatment for a nasty virus. Does anyone have any experiences with this particular injection? Are the side effects as life-threatening as the leaflet says? Is it always used when oral medication isn't suitable? Can anyone share if there are any tips for dealing with the side effects?
