I've been prescribed Accupril 10mg Tablets for my high blood pressure, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. Specifically, I want to know about the side effects and how they were managed. Are persistent coughs common? What should I do if I experience severe symptoms? The doctor told me about the serious side effects but I'd like to hear it from people who have been there.

Accupril has been a lifesaver for my heart failure, but I can't help but wonder about the long-term effects. Especially the kidney and liver issues. I'm thinking about switching to an alternative soon, any suggestions?

Be very careful with this medication. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital due to severe allergic reactions. If you experience any of the mentioned symptoms, go to the ER immediately.

I’ve had severe stomach pain and nausea. It was hell. I had to go to the ER a few times. Doctors say it’s quite rare though.

I’ve been on Accupril for a few months now, and honestly, I’ve had a persistent cough that’s been pretty annoying but manageable. It’s part of the deal with ACE inhibitors. This thread is great because I'd like to hear from others who have experienced this.

Itching is a no-go for me. I had to switch off Accupril because of that. Also, it wasn't great for my kidneys in the long run.

I've been on Accupril for years and haven't had any major issues. Just a little dizziness here and there, but nothing too bad. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I think it's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to medication. Just because someone has a bad experience doesn't mean you will. Stay positive but vigilant!
