I've been struggling with allergies lately, and my doctor prescribed Allergy Relf (loratadine) 10mg Tabs. I'm impressed so far—it's helped with my sneezing and itchy eyes, and unlike other antihistamines I've tried, it hasn't made me drowsy. But I've heard horror stories about side effects. Has anyone else had a different experience with this med? What are your go-to non-drowsy allergy medications? What should I watch out for? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Avoid dairy if you're taking this! I thought it'd be fine, but it's made me feel really queasy and it was a bad experience. It's a shame, because it's been working well for me.

I've been taking Allergy Relf for years and it's been a lifesaver. I get bad seasonal allergies, and this has been the only thing that keeps me from feeling miserable. The best part is that I can take it during the day and not feel that dreaded grogginess like others make me feel. Highly recommend!

I had a bad reaction to this drug. I started experiencing hives and had to go to the ER. Thankfully, it turned out to be an allergic reaction to the med itself. I wish I had known about the rare but serious side effects before I started taking it.

My doctor recommended Allergy Relf and it's really helped. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot.

I've been on Allergy Relf for a week now. It's been great so far—no sneezing, no itchy eyes. But I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. I've read it can cause headaches and fatigue. Should I be concerned? Anyone have any similar experiences?

I would definitely consider a lot of factors here. You should speak to your doctor. If you're already taking any other meds, you should be sure to tell your doctor about that.

I've always been skeptical of 'non-drowsy' claims. While Allergy Relf does work well, I still get a bit sleepy sometimes. I'm just careful to take it before bed now.
