I was prescribed Alprazolam 0.25mg ODT tablets for anxiety and panic attacks. I've been taking them for a couple of weeks now, and while they seem to help with my anxiety, I've been experiencing some side effects that I'm not sure about. I'm feeling really drowsy and weak most of the time, and I've had a few episodes of blurry vision. I've also noticed some changes in my appetite. I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced these side effects, and if so, how did you handle them? Also, should I be concerned about these side effects or should I just let my doctor know during my next appointment?

I've been really hesitant to complain about the side effects, because I really do think this medication is helping — but I don’t want to ignore anything serious. I've read the list of possible side effects, and I think I'm experiencing the milder ones. I guess I just want to know if I'm being overly cautious or if these are things to be legitimately concerned about. Any advice would be really helpful!

Did you just start a new vitamine or meds besides the pill? Blurred vision can be due to that, i had it before

I had some really bad side effects when I started taking these, but they went away after a few weeks. Hang in there, it might just take some time to adjust.

I had to stop taking Alprazolam because of the side effects. It's a tough call, but mental health is important too. I found a different medication that works without the same side effects.

I wouldn't ignore blurry vision. That could be a sign of something more serious, even if it's not directly related to the pills. I'd mention it to your doctor just to be safe.

I've been on benzos for years — the side effects can be a pain, but it's worth it for me. I've found that staying hydrated helps with a lot of the side effects. Dry mouth, headaches, etc.

I've been on Alprazolam for a while now, and the drowsiness is definitely a thing. I've found that taking it at night helps a lot. As for the blurry vision, that's new to me. You might want to check with your doctor about that one.
