Amlodipine-Benazepril 10/20mg: Life-Changing or Life-Threatening?
I recently started taking Amlodipine-Benazepril 10/20mg capsules to manage my high blood pressure. I've heard it's effective, but the list of side effects is daunting. Does anyone else have experience with this drug? How did you cope with the side effects, if any? What were your big wins or deals? Is it really as dangerous as it sounds, and should I be super worried about liver problems?

I had a severe allergic reaction to this med. Wheezing, swollen face, the works. Had to go to the ER and get a different prescription. I'll stick to my Lisinopril.
I'm starting this today and I’m so nervous but I kinda need to do something.
My mom was on this and had some issues with her kidneys.
I had to stop taking this med because it made my blood pressure go too low, but I did lose 20 lbs because I had no appetite so it’s not all bad.
I've been on this med for 6 months now. While I did have some dizziness to start, it went away after a couple of weeks. I was really worried about liver issues, but my doctor reassured me that they're very rare and it’s an extreme case when they happen. I didn’t have any problems with high blood pressure and I was able to quit smoking.
