I was prescribed FE C Tab 100mg-250mg Tablets to treat my iron deficiency anemia, and I've been taking them for about a month now. Initially, I thought they were helping, but lately, I've been feeling really constipated and my stomach has been bothering me. I've also noticed that my stools have turned green, which is pretty bizarre. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Are these side effects normal? Should I be worried? My doctor didn't mention these specific issues, so I'm a bit concerned. I'd love to hear from others who have taken this medication.

I had to stop taking these because they were making me so nauseous. I ended up switching to a different brand and it was much better. If you're having bad side effects, definitely talk to your doctor about alternatives.

I had no issues with it at all. I took them with my meals and had no problem so far.

I had some really bad stomach cramps when I was on these. I switched to a different iron supplement and it helped a lot. Just make sure you talk to your doctor so he can help you find the root cause of the pain.

This is a reply to the person who said they had no problems. How long have you been taking the pills? How often do you take it?

What if the side effects persist? Should I just take it as is, or change to something else?

Actually, the green stools are totally normal and nothing to worry about. It's just the iron reacting with your digestive system. As for the constipation, try increasing your fiber intake and drinking plenty of water. If it persists, talk to your doctor about switching to a different iron supplement.

I took these for a few months and had no issues at all. Maybe you should try taking them with food or switching to a different iron supplement. It might just be your body reacting differently to it.

I had similar issues with constipation. I started taking a stool softener and it helped a lot. Also, drinking lots of water can make a big difference. As for the green stools, that's just the iron passing through your system—totally normal!
