I was recently prescribed Prestalia 14-10mg Tablets for high blood pressure and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. It's a combination of perindopril and amlodipine, which both help relax blood vessels. I'm worried about potential side effects, such as allergic reactions, kidney problems, or high potassium levels. Has anyone else had any of these serious side effects? Or maybe you had a different, milder experience? I'd love to hear about it! Thanks!

I had a really bad reaction to this med. Ended up with hives and swelling in my throat. Scary stuff. Would not recommend.

I was on this for a while but switched back to just amlodipine. The combo was a bit too much for me. You might want to try just one of the components if you're having issues.

I didn't get any serious side effects, but the persistent cough was brutal. It's supposed to be common, but it was still annoying. Did anyone else notice that?

I started feeling really weak and dizzy, like I was about to pass out. Turned out my potassium levels were too high. Got my levels checked regularly now.

I had to switch from this to something else. My doctor was concerned I was retaining too much potassium, and I didn't want to risk it. Definitely talk to your doctor about monitoring your electrolyte levels.

I was worried about the kidney problems since I have a family history, but I haven't had any issues. It's always good to get regular checkups though!

I had a really bad experience with swelling in my arms and legs. Turned out it was fluid retention, which is a known side effect. If you have swelling check in with your doctor right away.

I thought the dizziness was pretty bad at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to take it easy when you start. Oh, and don't forget to stay hydrated.

I've been on Prestalia for a few months now, and it's been great for controlling my blood pressure. No serious side effects, just a bit of dizziness sometimes.
