I just started giving my kid Amox-Clav 250mg/5ml Susp 75ml for an ear infection, and I'm already noticing some side effects. I know it's common to have some upset stomach and diarrhea, but how bad is too bad? I've read about some pretty serious side effects like allergic reactions and liver problems. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you manage the side effects?

I had no idea that diarrhea could be fatal... that is crazy... Call your doctor if you have any concerns. That is mad. Definitely would not want to miss that.
I remember dealing with this when my daughter was little. It's so hard to see them uncomfortable. Just make sure to stay on top of the symptoms. If it gets severe, alert a doctor.
I've given this to my kids a few times and never had any major issues. Just the usual stomach upset. But I did read about the C. diff-associated diarrhea. Keep an eye on that.
My little one got a rash after taking this. Turns out she was allergic to it. We had to make a quick trip to the ER. Be careful and watch for any signs of an allergic reaction. Better safe than sorry.
