I was recently prescribed Abilify Discmelt 10mg for my bipolar disorder. I've been taking it for a few weeks now and I'm experiencing some dizziness and fatigue, which seems to be pretty common. I'm also a bit concerned about the potential for urges and metabolic syndrome. Anyone else have any side effects or are you guys all good? I really like how it dissolves quickly in my mouth and is easier to take, but I'd love to hear your experiences and tips.

I struggle with anxiety and I have found the Abilify does a lot to help calm me down. But I hear a lot of people talk about the weight gain, but changing my diet and exercise routine really helped out. Definitely watch your diet!

Abilify helped me a lot with my mood swings, but I did gain some weight. I found that eating healthier and exercising helped a lot. Worth it for the stability though.

The dizziness and fatigue are normal at first. It took me a while to get used to it, but it's worth it. Just be careful, if you notice any serious reactions like trouble controlling body movements or severe headaches, call your doctor right away.

I'm on Abilify for depression, not bipolar, and it's been crazy good for me. No side effects to speak of. I'm not on the 10mg tablets though, just the 5mg. Might be worth trying a lower dose?

I've been on Abilify for a while now and the dizziness gets better with time. Just be careful with the urges thing, I heard it can get pretty bad for some people. Stick it out and see how it goes!

I've been taking Abilify for about a year now and I haven't had any serious side effects. Just a bit of sleepiness and some weight gain, but it's manageable. I'm happy with the results so far.

I switched to the Discmelt because the pills were hard to swallow. No serious side effects here, just some weight gain. Make sure to exercise and eat right!

I don't know about the urges, but I've definitely experienced more constipation and appetite changes. Been trying to stay hydrated and eat a lot of fiber.

I think the medication is doing wonders for me but I've heard some scary things about tardive dyskinesia. How common is this? It sounds horrible.
