I had a friend who developed serotonin syndrome while on Mirtazapine. It was scary. Please be aware of the symptoms and talk to your doctor if you experience anything unusual.
I've been on Mirtazapine for about six months now. It definitely helped with my sleep and appetite, but I did experience some weight gain and strange dreams. Nothing too bad, though.
Be careful with the weight gain side effect. I gained 20 pounds in the first three months. It was tough to manage, but my doctor adjusted the dose, and it's better now.
I find the orally disintegrating tablets really convenient. No water needed, and they dissolve quickly. Makes it easier to take when I'm feeling down and forgetful.
I've had a few bad experiences with antidepressant side effects, but Mirtazapine was actually pretty good. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about if it still seems worthwhile.
I'm on my second week and I’m concerned.. I swore I had a seizure last night. I know how it sounds but I was having a terrifying dream and woke up to a feel of muscle contractions. Is that possible?
