I've recently been prescribed Cortenema 100mg Enema 60ml for my ulcerative colitis. It's a hydrocortisone enema used to reduce inflammation in the lower bowel and help with symptoms like bleeding, pain, and frequent bowel movements. I've heard mixed reviews about it, so I'm curious to know about other people's experiences. What side effects have you encountered? Has it been effective in managing your symptoms? Any tips on how to make the process easier? I'd love to hear from anyone who has used this medication before.

I had a really bad reaction to it. Started experiencing severe headaches and swelling. Had to go to the ER and they told me to never use it again. Be careful, folks.

I've been using Cortenema for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. The burning and stinging were a bit uncomfortable at first, but they went away after a few days. It's definitely helped reduce my symptoms. My doc told me if I have serious side effects or anything gets worse I'm supposed to dial it in and seek medical help right away.

I've been using it for years and it's always been effective for me. Just make sure to use it exactly as prescribed. I've had no major side effects, just some mild burning.

I've been on it for a week and it seems to be working for me but I'm too scared to get up and going to the bathroom. Did anyone have an experience like this?

Anyone else feel like they are getting a yeast infection from this?

I found that using a heating pad before and after helped with the discomfort. Also, make sure to empty your bladder before using the enema to avoid any accidents. It's a bit embarrassing but totally worth it for the relief.
