I was recently prescribed SF Rowasa Enema 4gm for ulcerative colitis. It's supposed to help reduce inflammation in the lower colon. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What were your experiences like? Did you notice any significant side effects? How long did it take to see improvements? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any tips or tricks for using the enema comfortably. Also, how does everyone take the enema? Is it okay to do it laying down on a clean couch or bed with pillows and blankets?

I've been using SF Rowasa Enema 4gm for about six months now, and it's made a big difference for me. I had some initial discomfort with the insertion, but it got easier over time. My doctor recommended lying on my left side with a pillow between my knees. It helped a lot. As for side effects, I've had some minor stomach pain and occasional rectal irritation, but nothing too severe.

Does anyone know if SF Rowasa Enema 4gm is safe to use long-term? I've been on it for a few months but then I was wondering if there's a risk of dependence or something similar.

I've heard that some people have trouble with the insertion part. That sounds uncomfortable but not too bad. Just make sure to follow the instructions and use a lubricant if needed. I haven't had any problems with it, luckily.

I used SF Rowasa for a year this is so weird. I didn't have any severe side effects, just some mild stomach discomfort. But I did notice that it helped a lot with my symptoms. If you're worried about the insertion, try using a lubricant. It can make it a lot more comfortable. Also, make sure to keep the enema warm, it helps with absorption.
