I've been prescribed Koate 1000unit Inj for my hemophilia A. I've heard it can have some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Just wondering if anyone has used this before, what they're experiences were, and did they have any serious side effects. How did you manage them if you did? Also, any tips for making the infusion process easier would be great. Thanks in advance!

I have to call the doctor if I have any questions with my meds.

This medication has been a game-changer for me. I used to have bleeding episodes all the time, but since I started using Koate, they've become much less frequent. It's been a lifesaver. Just make sure you're keeping track of your infusions and following the instructions closely. I've heard some people have issues if they're not careful.

I had a really bad reaction to Koate. I got a wheezing sound in my lungs and some red, swollen skin and hives. I had to stop using it and switch to a different brand. It was scary, but I’m glad I caught it early. If you experience anything like this, go to the hospital right away.

I’ve been using Koate for a while now, and while it’s been effective, I did experience some severe dizziness and chest pain after a few infusions. I immediately contacted my doctor and was monitored for a while. It turned out I might have been pushing the infusion too quickly. Adjusting the infusion rate helped a lot. It’s crucial to follow the doctor’s instructions closely and not rush the process to avoid these issues.
