My 6-year-old is picky about medicine but needs a chewable vitamin with fluoride. Thankfully, I found Poly-Vi-flor, which seems to be perfect and has fluoride for better teeth health. Our pediatrician recommended it. Anyone else familiar with this? What are your experiences with it? My biggest concerns are the side effects and how to spot any allergic reactions.

That’s great to hear your pediatrician recommended this. My child complains about the taste of vitamins and medicine, and we’ve been trying to find a way to make vitamins more palatable. I guess the Poly-Vi-flor is one of the best ways.

Have any of the kids had trouble with the actual chewing? My daughter keeps trying to swallow it whole, which makes me worry.

I've been using Poly-Vi-flor for my kids for 2 years now and haven’t had any issues. I like that it includes fluoride, especially since we have well water without fluoride. I’ve heard some parents complain about stomach issues, but my kids have been fine.

Complaints about the taste are common with all chewable, but the kids need vitamins. Its really important.

We found that the child doesn't like the taste of Poly-Vi-flor. The child has complained about the taste. But if the child does not like the taste, you can get a different flavor, and he or she might like it. I think it’s all about finding the right flavor. What flavors do you guys have?

My pediatric dentist recommended Poly-Vi-flor for my two kids and they are actually keeping it on their table next to their toothbrush. My daughter actually likes the grape flavor. The tablets are a smart way to ensure kids are not only getting their vitamins but also fluoride to keep their teeth healthy. It’s a win-win.

Picky eaters are the worst. Did you know that Poly-Vi-flor can make a kid gag? It happened to my kid, but I powdered it and mixed with yogurt, then tried with smoothies. Problem solved.
