I recently had a procedure using Sodium Bicarbonate 4.2% injection, and I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. The list seems rather daunting, especially the urgent side effects. Has anyone experienced or heard about these? What should I really be watching out for? Any advice on managing potential side effects or knowing when to call the doctor would be greatly appreciated.

I wish they provided more details in the packet. I remember having to look up additional facts about Sodium Bicarbonate after my injection.

Forgetting to report side effects can have bigger issues down the line. Better to be a little inconvenienced than risk long-term problems.

I know someone who had muscle spasms after this injection. They were painful and quite inconvenient. Their doctor managed it with some muscle relaxants and rest. Not fun!

I had this injection during a recent procedure, and while I didn't experience any major side effects, I did notice some swelling at the injection site. It was uncomfortable, but my nurse assured me it was normal.

It’s good to report any side effects to the FDA as well. This helps in keeping track of how the medication is affecting people across the board. 1-800-332-1088.

I think the key is to stay in close contact with your medical team. They can monitor you for any signs of complications and address them quickly if they arise.

Sodium Bicarbonate can cause tissue damage if it leaks from the vein, so it's crucial to keep an eye on the injection site. I've seen this happen to a patient before, but it was caught early and managed properly.

The allergic reaction symptoms are pretty scary. I’ve been so anxious about developing any of them. But I remember the doctor said those are really rare.
