I've been diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and my doctor recommended Entyvio (Vedolizumab) as my next treatment option. I'm a bit nervous about starting a new medication, especially one given by IV infusion. I've heard it can be quite effective but I'm also worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone here tried Entyvio? What were your experiences like? Did you notice a significant improvement in your symptoms? How did you handle the side effects? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had no idea about the PML risk. Glad I read this now, sounds scary.

If anyone is considering Entyvio, make sure to stay in close contact with your doctor. When I first started, I had some liver issues, but my doctor caught it early and adjusted my treatment plan. It's crucial to monitor your health closely while on this medication.

I had a really bad reaction to Entyvio. Within a week, I started experiencing severe headaches and dizziness. I had to stop taking it and switch to something else. Everyone's different, so be cautious and keep an eye out for any changes.

Just started Entyvio a few months back. It's too early to tell how effective it will be for my UC, but so far, so good. No serious side effects. My doctor said it can take a while to see the full benefits, so I'm just hoping for the best.

Some people might have an allergic reaction or an infection, so pay attention to those signs. Thankfully that hasn't happened to me.

I've been on Entyvio for about a year now and it's been a game-changer for my Crohn's. My symptoms have improved dramatically, and I haven't had any major side effects. Just some minor ones like a headache or joint pain, but nothing too bad.

I've had a mild case of Crohn's for 20 years. I’ve tried everything, and I’m really glad I stumbled upon this thread. My doctor’s recommending Entyvio. Good thing I read this thread.

I think the infusion process is the worst part. It takes forever, and I always feel so tired afterward. But, it's worth it if it means my symptoms improve. Just make sure you have someone to drive you home afterward.
