I've been dealing with frequent nosebleeds lately, and my doctor prescribed Adrenalin 1:1000 (0.1%) Nasal Solution to help stop them. I'm a bit nervous about using it because I've heard about some serious side effects. Has anyone else used this solution for nosebleeds? I've used it for years for my chronic nosebleeds. It's a lifesaver, but I always keep my EpiPen nearby just in case. Better safe than sorry.
I thought about using it but my doctor recommended something else because of the potential side effects.
I'm a doctor and I can confirm that this should never be used for anaphylaxis. Always keep an EpiPen on hand for that.
I tried it and it stung like hell, but it did stop the bleeding. Definitely worth it for me.

I've never had nosebleeds but my wife has, and this worked for her. She didn't have any side effects either.
I work in a hospital and sometimes see people confused and using this for allergic reactions. Please, if you have a severe allergic reaction, use an EpiPen, not this!
