I've been on Arnuity Ellipta for a year now, and it's been a lifesaver for my asthma. I did have some throat irritation at first, but my doctor advised using a spacer, which helped a lot. Just make sure to rinse your mouth after using it to prevent any yeast infections.
Side effects can be tricky, but managing them is key. I found that drinking lots of water helped with the throat irritation. Also, using a humidifier at night made a big difference.
Remember, everyone's body reacts differently to meds. If you're having issues, talk to your doctor. They might tweak the dose or switch you to something else. Don’t suffer in silence!
I've been on this for three months and no side effects so far. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully and use it consistently. Consistency is key for me.
I had a cough and sore throat initially, but just took it easy for a couple of days with lots of fluids and it passed. Keep an eye on those side effects though.
