I recently started using Atropine Sulf 1% Oph Soln 15ml eye drops for an eye exam and was surprised by some of the potential side effects listed. The drops are supposed to dilate your pupils, which can help with diagnoses regarding lazy eye and inflammation. As someone who usually doesn’t have eye issues, I was caught off guard by the potential for more severe side effects like trouble breathing or changes in eyesight. The instructions also mentioned that if you experience any allergic reaction, you should seek medical attention immediately. I've experienced minor issues like blurriness and dry eyes, but nothing too severe. Has anyone else used these drops and if so, what was your experience? It's good to hear that you don't have to worry about these more severe effects all the time, but I guess it's better safe than sorry.

These drops are amazing for eye exams. I've used them a few times and never had any issues. It's great to know that the side effects are rare, but it's always good to be careful.

These drops are a godsend for eye exams. I've never had any issues with them, but I have seen the scary side effects list. It's good to be aware, but don't let it scare you off if your doctor recommends them.

Side effects from these might not be common, but they’re nothing to mess around with. If you get any signs of a severe reaction, head to the ER ASAP.

I got these prescribed for some eye inflammation. The side effects were minimal, just some slight stinging when I applied the drops. But even though I didn't have any bad reactions, it's definitely worth being aware of the more severe ones.

I used these drops for my lazy eye treatment. The dilation felt weird, but it wasn't too bad. Just make sure to have someone drive you home if you’re going for an exam, because your vision might be blurry afterward.
