I've been taking Betaine Anhydrous Powder for a few months now to treat homocystinuria. It's been a game-changer in managing my homocysteine levels, but I've experienced a few side effects. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What side effects have you encountered, and how have you managed them? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm curious about any long-term effects or benefits others have noticed.

I've been on Betaine for a couple of years now, and it's been a lifesaver. I did have some mild rashes at first, but they went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your homocysteine levels regularly. My doctor told me it can take some time for your body to adjust to the medication, but the long-term benefits are worth it. Good luck!

This thread is so helpful. I didn't know Betaine Anhydrous Powder helped with bone problems too. I have the swollen and peeling skin sometimes, but I guess thats a small price to pay. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Has anyone else noticed any improvement in their energy levels? I've felt significantly better since starting Betaine.

Betaine Anhydrous Powder is a game-changer. It's a relief to finally manage my homocystinuria with something that actually works. The side effects are minor compared to the benefits. I still have hives sometimes, but I'm used to it by now. It takes time to adjust, but it's worth it in the end.

Betaine Anhydrous Powder completely changed my life. I was dealing with constant bone pain and fatigue, and now I feel like a new person. The key is to keep a close eye on your homocysteine levels and communicate openly with your healthcare provider. My levels have been consistently normal for the past year.

I haven't had any serious side effects, but I did notice some itching. The doctor recommended an antihistamine, and it cleared up quickly. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. They can give you personalized advice.

My experience with Betaine has been very positive. I used to have frequent blood clots, but since starting the medication, I haven't had any issues. I still get mild side effects like redness, but it's a small price to pay for the benefits. Just stay in touch with your doctor and keep monitoring your levels.

Did your doctor give you any specific tips on managing side effects? I've been hesitant to start Betaine because I've heard some horror stories about allergic reactions.
