I was recently prescribed Buspirone 30mg Tablets for anxiety. I've been taking them for a few weeks now, and I thought I'd share my experience. Unlike some anxiety meds, it's not a benzodiazepine, so no sedation or dependence issues. However, it does take some time to kick in. I actually got so frustrated with waiting, that I checked on line and realized it's normal. I did experience some headaches and feeling dizzy and sleepy. I guess we all have different responses. Has anyone else been on this and have any tips or advice to share? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any side effects you've encountered. Also, how long did it take for you to feel the effects? Better late than never, right? I'm also curious about how others have managed the side effects. I'd appreciate any insights!

Be patient, it really can take a few weeks to feel the effects fully. I had some nausea at first, but it went away. Definitely worth it for me!

I've been on Buspirone for a few months now. It took about 2 weeks to really kick in for me. Side effects weren't too bad, just a bit of dizziness at first. Hang in there, it gets better!

I actually had serotonin syndrome with Buspirone, so be careful if you're taking other meds that affect serotonin levels. Seek medical help immediately if you experience any of the symptoms mentioned!

I felt like it took forever to start working. I almost gave up, but I’m glad I didn't. Now I feel much better.

I’ve been on it for a year now and it’s been amazing. No more constant anxiety. Just remember to take it regularly as prescribed.

Feeling a bit nervous with this, but who knows? Maybe it'll work for me. Thanks everyone for your patience and sharing!

I got really nervous and excitable at first, which was actually worse than my anxiety. I had to adjust my dose with my doctor. Just be aware of what's happening and talk to your doctor.

I didn't experience any urgent side effects, but the feeling of dizziness was a bit annoying at first. It went away after a few days though.
