Built-In Fridge vs. 36" Freestanding: Saving $7k on a fridge, or worth the cost? (Family of 4, Kitchen Remodel)

We’re a family of 4, with 2 toddlers. We cook almost all our meals at home and are fairly budget-conscious but like to make strategic splurges. We’re midway through planning a significant kitchen remodel (approx. 100k budget). Our appliances budget is 10-15k, and I’m struggling with whether to splurge on a 14-15k built-in 42" fridge or go practical with a 36" freestanding fridge. We’ll be getting custom cabinets and a new island. I’ve been looking at Thermador for the 42" and Bosch for the 36".I’m having a hard time justifying the extra cost on a built-in knowing they will eventually need to be replaced. If anyone has tips on making a 36" freestanding fridge blend in with custom cabinets, or advice in general, I’d love to hear it! We're here for the long haul, planning to stay put for 15-20+ years.

Has anyone tried Tadalafil 5mg Blister Pack Tablets for ED or BPH? Share your experiences!

I've been prescribed Tadalafil 5mg Blister Pack Tablets for erectile dysfunction (ED), and I'm curious to hear from others who have tried it. I understand it can also help with symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH). How effective has it been for you? What side effects have you experienced? I've heard it can work for up to 36 hours, so I'm hoping it'll give me some flexibility on weekends. Any advice on dosage, timing, or how to reduce potential side effects would be greatly appreciated. I'm also interested in hearing from anyone who has used it for BPH and how it improved their urinary symptoms.

Bariatric Multivitamins W/45mg Iron: Essential Supplement for Post-WLS Patients or Just Another Expensive Pill?

I recently started taking Bariatric Multivitamins with 45mg Iron after my weight-loss surgery. My doctor recommended it to ensure I get all the necessary nutrients, especially iron, which can be harder to absorb after surgery. But I'm curious to know if anyone else has tried these and if they've noticed a difference in their energy levels or overall health. I've heard mixed reviews about the side effects, so I'm interested in hearing your experiences and, importantly, if anyone has found these to be essential or if there are good alternatives.

Has anyone else experienced significant side effects from Sucralfate 1gm/10ml U/d Suspension?

I've been prescribed Sucralfate 1gm/10ml U/d Suspension to help heal an ulcer in my duodenum. I've been taking for a few weeks now. The medicine is supposed to form a protective coating over the ulcer, shielding it from stomach acid and helping it heal. However, I've been experiencing some side effects that I'm not sure are normal. Has anyone else had similar issues? I'm really hoping to get some insights and advice from others who have been through this. My doctor mentioned the rare but serious side effects like signs of an allergic reaction or high blood sugar. How likely is it to experience these? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I recently started researching Xuriden (uridine) for treating hereditary orotic aciduria, a rare genetic condition that affects pyrimidine production. This medicine seems promising as it helps improve symptoms like anemia and growth problems. However, the side effects listed, particularly the serious ones, are quite concerning. I'm curious to hear from anyone who has experience with this medication—how has it impacted your life? Have you encountered any of the serious side effects mentioned? I'd love to know more about the practical aspects of taking Xuriden, such as dosage, frequency, and how it's administered. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I'm getting my first MRI with Gadobutrol dye. What should I expect?

I'm scheduled for my first MRI and the doctors told me they will inject Gadobutrol 1mmol/ml Inj, 10ml during the scan. I've read the brochure but is there anything specific I should expect regarding the side effects or the procedure? It sounds a bit worrying, especially the allergic reactions and kidney problems. I am not sure if there are any post-MRI recommendations. Has anyone had this dye before? Any personal experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated!

What to Expect After Receiving Fluorescein 10% Op Inj, 5ml: Urine Turns Bright Yellow? Normal or Not?

I recently had an eye exam where I was given Fluorescein 10% Op Inj, 5ml. The injection itself was quick and not too painful, but afterward, my urine turned bright yellow. The doctor said it was normal, but I wanted to check in with others who have had this experience. Is this a common side effect? How long does it usually last? And are there any other side effects I should be aware of? The doctor mentioned the possibility of yellow skin, but that hasn't happened yet. Any advice on how to manage potential side effects would also be appreciated.

Just got prescribed Numbrino 40mg/ml Nasal Solution for surgery — is anyone familiar with this stuff? It's cocaine, right? Has anyone had experience with this?

I am to use this as a nasal spray during a procedure to numb and reduce bleeding. This is my first time hearing about this solution and I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this or any insight into its effects. I know it's a controversial topic out there but I am asking for advice on the medical effects. I know many people suggest trying to find a different procedure but this is not an option in my case. I am sure many people here have had some experience with this and I would love to hear some thoughts. I have been doing a lot of reading but I feel like I could use a firsthand account. I have read about the side effects but still want to know what to expect.

Anyone experience extreme fatigue or weakness using Pradaxa Dabigatran 150mg ?

I just started on dabigatran 150mg capsules for my atrial fibrillation. I know it's used to prevent blood clots, but I've been feeling extremely fatigued and weak since starting this medication. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried because I also have issues with my knees, and the joint pain from the drug could be problematic. Also, I noticed swelling and burning sensation in my abdomen. Is this typical? Obviously, I have to consult my doctor about this, but I'd like to hear from others' experiences. I know this is not a life-threatening side effect, but I find it uncomfortable. Did anyone complain to the FDA about it? A feeling of helplessness has overcome me, just wanted to know if there are any real-life remedies to combat this common side effect? In the meantime, I am taking the drug as prescribed, as I am fairly certain it is more beneficial to me than any side effect it could possibly have.

Morphine Sulfate 2mg/ml Injection: Severe Side Effects & Administration Information

I was recently administered Morphine Sulfate 2mg/ml Injection for severe pain management after a surgery. The medication was effective in managing my pain, but I've been experiencing some side effects that are concerning. I'm eager to hear about others' experiences with this medication, particularly the side effects and how they were managed. I'm also curious about the long-term effects mentioned in the documentation, such as hormonal changes and adrenal gland problems. Does anyone have experience with these? Additionally, I noticed that the documentation mentioned unusual symptoms for spinal injections. Has anyone received this medication via spinal injection and experienced any of these symptoms? Finally, I'm interested in hearing about any tips or strategies others have found helpful for managing the side effects of Morphine Sulfate.

I've been prescribed Diclofenac 1.5% Topical Solution for my osteoarthritis. I've been looking at the side effects and I'm a bit worried. Has anyone had any issues with this topical NSAID? It says it can cause severe reactions and I don't know if it's worth the risk. I've seen some reviews saying it works great, while others say they had serious problems. Its been a few days since I started using Pinxav 30% Ointment on my baby, but I'm not seeing any improvements in the diaper rash.

I've been using Pinxav 30% Ointment for the past few days to treat my baby's diaper rash, but I'm not seeing the improvements I was hoping for. The ointment seems to be doing its job of protecting the skin and creating a barrier, but the rash doesn't seem to be healing as quickly as I thought it would. I've been applying it after every diaper change and making sure the area is clean and dry before application. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I want to make sure I'm using it correctly and that it's the right product for my baby's needs. Maybe I should give it more time, or should I consider switching to something else? Any advice would be appreciated. If it comes down to the side effects listed, I don't feel too worried as I know most are rare.

Just prescribed Cefprozil 500mg Tablets for a sinus infection. What should I expect?

I've recently been prescribed Cefprozil 500mg Tablets for a sinus infection that just won't quit. The doctor said it's an antibiotic that will help clear out the bacteria causing the infection. I've never taken this specific antibiotic before, so I'm curious about the side effects and the overall experience. Does anyone have any advice on how to manage the side effects or any tips for taking the full course of medication? I've seen some serious side effects listed, but I hope it doesn't come to that. I'm eager to get back to feeling like myself again!

Has anyone else experienced bad side effects from Nadolol 40mg Tablets?

I've been taking Nadolol 40mg Tablets for a few weeks now, and I'm not sure if I'm imagining things but it feels like my heart rate is getting slower. I thought that was supposed to be a good thing, but I've been feeling kind of dizzy and lightheaded a lot. Is that normal? How long does it take for your body to adjust to this medication? I've also read that there are some pretty serious side effects to look out for. Has anyone else experienced any of these, or do people usually only get the milder side effects? Just feeling a little worried.

I've been using Retin-A 0.01% Gel for about a month now, and I've seen some improvements in my acne, but the side effects have been brutal. Has anyone else had a similar experience, and how did you manage the side effects? Also, I'm curious to hear about any long-term benefits people have seen.

I just got my prescription for Prenate Mini Capsules. I've heard that it's a good prenatal vitamin, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've read that it doesn't contain Vitamin A, which is a good thing, but I'm concerned about things like diarrhea and allergies. Has anyone else taken this and had any issues? I'm really hoping that it's not as bad as some reviews make it out to be.

I was recently prescribed Nicardipine 2.5mg/1ml Inj, 10ml for emergency high blood pressure, and I would love to share my experience and hear from others who have used it. I had no idea this medication is given intravenously to quickly lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood. My doctor explained the possible side effects, mainly the severe ones to watch out for like allergic reactions, severe dizziness, fast heartbeat, and chest pain. I also found that there are more common side effects like dizziness, tiredness, and flushing which are less severe, but still worth mentioning. So if you or anyone you know has used this drug, I'd love to know what your experience was like? Did you face any complications? How long did you have to use it? I am curious to learn more about this medication and how well it works for others.

Just got my Lidocaine 2% Topical Jelly for a dental procedure. Any tips or things to watch out for?

I got Lidocaine 2% Topical Jelly for my dental appointment, it is a numbing medicine used to temporarily block nerve signals to relieve pain.
