I've been taking Carbi/Levo CR 25-100mg for a few months now to manage my Parkinson's disease, and I've noticed a variety of side effects. Nothing too severe, but they can be bothersome. Anyone else have any experience with this medication? I'd love to hear what others are going through.

I've had some pretty awful nightmares since starting Carbi/Levo. It's like my brain is on overdrive at night. It's affecting my sleep quality big time. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you deal with it?

I think the behavioral changes are the hardest to deal with. I've had some really bad mood swings and even some hallucinations. It's like living with a stranger sometimes. How do you all cope with that aspect?

Have you all talked to your doctors about adjusting the dosage or trying a different medication? Sometimes a slight tweak can make a big difference in how you handle side effects.

Carbi/Levo isn't perfect, but it's way better than some of the other medications I've tried. Kind of feels like a trade-off between managing Parkinson's and dealing with the side effects. Just have to weigh the pros and cons.

Don't forget the discoloration issue. My urine turned dark brown, and I freaked out until I read about it online. It's scary at first, but harmless apparently. Anyone else scared the first time they saw this side effect?

I'm just glad there are forums like this where we can discuss our experiences. It helps knowing we're not alone in dealing with these side effects. Thanks for sharing your stories everyone!

I've been on Carbi/Levo CR 25-100mg for a year now. The first few months were rough with some pretty intense nausea and dizziness, but my doctor adjusted the dosage and it's been manageable since. My biggest concern is the sudden sleepiness—it's scary because it can hit without warning. I've had to give up driving for now, but it's a small price to pay if it helps with my symptoms. What about you guys? Are there any tricks to managing the side effects?
