I've been prescribed Ciprofloxacin 750mg Tablets for a bacterial infection, and I'm a bit worried about the side effects. I've heard horror stories about some of the serious side effects this medication can cause, like tendon issues and nerve damage. Has anyone had bad experiences with this medication? How did you manage the side effects? I'm also curious if there are any tips for preventing or managing the more common side effects like diarrhea and nausea. I've read that probiotics can help with antibiotic-related diarrhea, but I'm not sure if that's safe to take with this medication. How can I tell if I'm having minor issues or a serious reaction? I haven't been able to find much info on what to do if I experience side effects, other than the vague 'contact your doctor' advice.

Rashes and trouble breathing are no joke. I had a friend who took Ciprofloxacin and ended up in the ER with a bad reaction. It was scary stuff. But I'm glad it was caught in time. Rashes are really common with antibiotics, but I don't think we really understand what triggers them. Make sure to monitor yours carefully.

I had to take Ciprofloxacin for a U.T.I., and I experienced diarrhea pretty badly. The doctor warned me about it, but it was still awful. I had to take Imodium to manage it. I didn't know what a serious side effect looked like at the time. I've heard that C. diff can be a real issue with antibiotics, so I'm glad I checked with my doctor before treating my diarrhea.

I had to step away from antibiotics after my experience with Cipro. I was in the hospital for a week with CDAD. I can't stress enough that it's better to be safe and call your doctor if you're experiencing something strange. Don't tough it out. You may regret it.

This is scary. I had a friend who had to stop taking it because of side effects. He had some severe digestive issues. Is it better to take probiotics while on antibiotics? I've read that it can help, but I'm not sure if it's safe.

I've never taken antibiotics for an extended period of time, and honestly had no idea about these side effects. I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried to sue the drug company. Isn't this worth a class action lawsuit? I feel like I might just skip the antibiotic. My doctor said it's safe, but I wonder if it's worth the risk.

I've taken Ciprofloxacin before and experienced some pretty severe headaches. Make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. If something feels off, it probably is. I had trouble distinguishing between the side effects that are common and those that are rare but serious. It can be a bit scary, but just pay attention to what your body is telling you. If you experience any severe pain or strange reactions, don't hesitate to get medical help.

This is a bit of a scary medication. I had no idea about the aorta issue. I always thought antibiotics were pretty safe. I'm glad I started reading more on this. I'm taking a different antibiotic and it's been fine. I'm wondering if people are more likely to take Ciprofloxacin because it's a strong antibiotic or because it targets a lot of infections and not because it's safer.

I'm really surprised by this. I've known this is a great antibiotic, but I didn't know the side effects are so serious. It's a bit worrying. I usually just take generic antibiotics. I wonder if it's worth it to get something that's stronger if it could cause something like Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Seriously? What kind of deal is this! I've taken antibiotics since I was a kid, and never had any issues. And your doctor gave you 750mg? That's a strong dose. I'm scared to take this now.

I had a really bad reaction to this medication. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER, and they told me I was having an allergic reaction. I had no idea this could happen.
