Hi everyone, I've been using Clindamycin 1% Lotion for a few weeks now to treat my acne, and I've seen some improvement. However, I've also experienced some dryness and irritation on my face. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar side effects or if there are any tips to mitigate this? Additionally, I'm a bit concerned about the more serious side effects listed, such as C diff-associated diarrhea. Has anyone had experience with this, and if so, how was it managed? I've been pretty careful about washing my hands and avoiding sharing towels, etc. but I'm still a bit worried. Thanks in advance for any insights!

I've had itchy skin from this lotion. It's weird—sometimes it itches and sometimes it doesn't.

I’ve had C diff before, and let me tell you, it’s no joke. If you start getting horrible stomach cramps and watery diarrhea, go to the doctor right away. It can be life-threatening if you don't treat it immediately. I've been more careful with antibiotics since then.

I used this for a month, and it worked wonders on my acne. But once I stopped, my skin got worse. I think it might have been that my skin got used to it, and when it was gone, it had a hard time adjusting. Maybe this means I should go back to using it.

I had a really bad reaction to Clindamycin. I broke out in hives and had to go to the ER. I didn't know it could cause an allergic reaction so bad. Be cautious and stop using it if you notice any severe symptoms.

I've been using this for months and haven't had any major side effects. I did get a bit of redness at first, but it went away after a while. Just stick with it and give your skin time to adjust.

Be careful with the lotion—once I got some in my eye and it burned like crazy! Make sure to be gentle when applying it around sensitive areas.

I've had pretty good results with Clindamycin 1% Lotion, but I also experienced some dryness. I've found that using a good moisturizer helped a lot. Just make sure to apply the moisturizer after the lotion has fully absorbed.
