Clobazam 2.5mg/ml Suspension (120ml) is a prescription medication which is used to treat epileptic seizures, specifically for those with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. As a benzodiazepine, it works by reducing brain activity. However, its side effects are numerous and can range from mild to severe. I'm curious to learn from others with experience, what strategies do you employ to manage side effects like drowsiness and fatigue? What about the more serious side effects, have any of you or someone you know experienced them? How did you handle these situations? I have heard that this medication has the potential to increase suicidal thoughts, is this something that has been observed in your experience?

I've been on Clobazam for over a year and the drowsiness can be brutal at first, but it seems to level out over time. Just don't drive or operate heavy machinery if you're feeling sleepy.

I've had to switch to a lower dose because of the fatigue and weakness. It's been a big adjustment, but my seizures are under control, so it's worth it. I'm curious if anyone else has had to adjust their dosage?

This medication saved my brother's life. He was having a ton of seizures, and nothing else worked. He's been on it for a year, and he hasn't had a single seizure since.

I haven't experienced any serious side effects, but I've read about the increased risk of suicidal thoughts. It's terrifying, especially for parents managing a child's treatment.

It's important to know the signs of a liver problem and get medical help immediately if you notice any symptoms, but most people won't experience this.

I wish they would study the effects of Clobazam more thoroughly. It just seems off that some people are incredibly affected by this medication while others aren't.

Be very careful with this stuff. Benzo withdrawal can be brutal, especially if you've been on it for a while. Make sure you taper off under medical supervision.

I've been keeping a close eye on my moods and behaviors since I started taking Clobazam. I've always been very anxious, but it seems like it’s gotten better with the medication. I'm considering going to see a therapist just to be sure.
