I've been prescribed Fragmin for blood clot prevention and I'm feeling a bit anxious. As an injectable, it's a bit intimidating — does anyone have tips for making the injections less painful? I'm also worried about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Have any of you experienced anything serious, or does it generally go smoothly? What are your thoughts on using this medication long-term? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Been using it since my surgery. The worst was the pinching feeling when you do it yourself. But it's worth it to stay safe.

You'll be fine. The needle is tiny. But make sure to do it right. Press down on the skin and inject slowly. It's not fun, but it's not the end of the world. Follow the instructions and you'll be ok

If you're worried, take it easy on yourself. Some people have a much harder time with this than others. Just remember to talk to your doctor and don't be afraid to ask questions. Find what works for you. But overall, it's not fun to deal with

This stuff is a lifesaver. Had a major blood clot scare and Fragmin kept things in check. A bit tough to handle at first, but I got used to the routine. Never had any major side effects either. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice closely. Good luck!
