I've been taking Creon 12,000unit capsules for about six months now to help manage my pancreatic issues. It seemed like a good solution at first, but recently, I've been experiencing some worrying side effects. I've had persistent stomach pains, dizziness, and even a few bouts of diarrhea. I'm not sure if these are normal side effects or if I should be concerned about something else. Has anyone else had similar experiences? How have you managed them? Furthermore, when I started the medication, the pill's coating was odd... almost like it was dissolving too easily. Has anyone else encountered this?

Creon just isn't for me, I think. Talk to your doctor about other options. This is a real thing... don't rely on these forums.

I've never heard of the pill dissolving easily. I'd be concerned about that and double-check with your pharmacist or doctor. Don't be afraid of looking into it further.

I started taking Creon and it really lowered my blood sugar. Wasn'taware it could do that. I thought I was just on low carb diet. Well guessed it may not be the case.

I've had some joint pain and swelling since I started taking Creon. My doctor is running tests. I'm more into holistic methods to deal with my pancreatic issues. Anyone experienced that too?

I had a reaction to something else and I thought it was the Creon. Turns out it was something else. Always good to check.
