I've recently started using Tobi 300mg/5ml Nebulzr Sol 56 X 5ml for my cystic fibrosis-related lung infections. I'm finding it to be a game-changer, but I'm also noticing some side effects. I'm curious if anyone else has similar experiences or tips on managing the side effects. This medication is specifically used to treat lung infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and is inhaled directly into the lungs through a nebulizer. It’s prescribed in cycles of 28 days on and 28 days off, which can be challenging to remember. I'm interested in hearing from others who have used this medication and their thoughts on the treatment process. Also, any advice on handling the more serious side effects, such as kidney problems or changes in balance, would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve found that using a humidifier in my room while on Tobi makes the whole process a bit easier. It helps keep my throat from getting too dry, which can be uncomfortable.

Just started Tobi and I'm really struggling with the 28-day cycles. Any tips on how you guys manage to remember? I feel like I'm always a day off or something. I'm not always as strict as I should be, but I try my best!

I really hate this medication. The taste is awful and the side effects are annoying. But my doctor says it’s really helping with my lung infections, so I guess I’ll keep going with it.

I've had some issues with taste changes and sore throat, but my doctor advised gargling with warm salt water after each session, which helps a lot. Also, make sure to clean the nebulizer regularly to avoid any extra issues.

I'm fortunate enough to have a good experience with Tobi. I have had a few mild side effects but nothing too severe. I think as long as you keep your doctor updated and follow the prescription carefully, you'll be okay. Just remember to take breaks like they say.

I've been on Tobi for a while and have noticed some hearing loss, though it’s not severe. I had an appointment with an ENT (ear, nose, and throat specialist) to discuss this, but it’s definitely something to watch out for. I always report any changes to my hearing to my doctor during my regular check-ups.

I had a bit of a panic attack when I started experiencing some hearing loss, but my doctor assured me it’s a known side effect and adjusted my dosage. Always great to have a supportive medical team.

Using Tobi for over a year now and still going strong. The 28-day cycles are crucial; I set alarms on my phone to remind me when to switch back and forth.

Hey, anyone else find that using Tobi makes their voice sound a bit funny? Like, really raspy and hoarse for a few days. I'm trying to see if it's just me or if it's a common thing to deal with.
