I've been taking Dapagliflozin 10mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my type 2 diabetes, and while my blood sugar levels have improved, I'm concerned about the potential side effects I've been reading about. Dapagliflozin is supposed to help your kidneys remove more sugar from your body through urination but I am worried if this will help me or put more strain on my body. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'd love to hear about your journey with this medication and if anyone else has noticed any of the side effects listed.

I've been taking Dapagliflozin for a few months and it's honestly been a lifesaver. My blood sugar levels are finally under control, and I haven't experienced any major side effects yet. Just drink lots of water and you might be fine.

Any advice on urinary tract infections? I've had one before and it was awful.

I had a UTI a few months after starting Dapagliflozin. It was miserable, but my doctor said it's a known side effect. I just had to take antibiotics and it cleared up. Now I'm just extra cautious about hygiene.

I read that it can also help with heart failure and chronic kidney disease. Does anyone have experience with that? I'm curious if the benefits are worth the risk of side effects for those conditions.

Dapagliflozin really helped me, but my doctor had me monitor my blood sugar levels closely and keep an eye on my hydration levels. It's important to follow your doctor's advice and stay vigilant about your health. But I will say, it's not a magic pill. You still need to eat healthy and exercise.

Also, watch out for any signs of acidosis. It's rare but serious. If you feel extremely tired or weak, or start breathing rapidly, seek medical help immediately.

I've heard that some people experience low blood sugar on this medication. Has anyone else dealt with that? I'm wondering if it's something I should start keeping glucose tablets on hand for.

Be careful with this medication. My mom had a severe allergic reaction to it and ended up in the hospital. It's rare but it can happen. So you should definitely be aware of any unusual symptoms.

Absolutely. I've had a few scares with low blood sugar, and I've had to keep glucose tablets handy. You should definitely talk to your doctor about managing this, because it's not fun.

I've been on Dapagliflozin for a year and it's been a game-changer for my blood sugar control. I experienced some mild side effects initially, like nose and throat irritation, but nothing major. I drink lots of water to stay hydrated and feel like it balances out the sugar removal.
