I've been prescribed Depakote 125mg Delayed Release Tabs to help manage my bipolar disorder. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication for epilepsy, bipolar disorder, or migraine prevention. How has it worked for you? Have you experienced any of the side effects mentioned, and if so, how did you manage them? I've been experiencing some dizziness and fatigue, but my doctor assured me these are common and should subside. I'm also a bit worried about the potential for more serious side effects, like the increased risk of suicidal thoughts. Has anyone else had to deal with this? Any advice on how to monitor and cope with these risks? I'd love to hear your experiences and tips on managing this medication effectively.

I think the side effects are pretty rare. I've been on it for a few years, and I haven't experienced anything serious. Even the increased appetite was manageable with exercise. I think the benefits outweigh the risks. Seizures are scarier than weight gain.

I've been on Depakote for a few years now for epilepsy, and it's been a game-changer. The side effects were tough at first—I had a lot of nausea and hair loss—but it's stabilized my seizures. Just make sure to get regular blood tests to monitor your liver function. That's what my doctor said.

I'm only on it for a couple of months and have no issues. It isn't the worst thing out there. I take the delayed-release version and I have to say, it's made a big difference in my quality of life.

I've been taking Depakote for bipolar disorder, and it's helped stabilize my moods. But I have to be careful with my diet because the increased appetite can be insane. I've gained some weight, but it's a small price to pay for the stability. My advice? Make sure you're eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly.

Does anyone else feel like they're walking on eggshells with this stuff? I'm constantly worried about the suicidal thoughts risk, so I'm glad I found this thread to get some perspective.

60% chance I get constipation but if I eat a lot of fiber, I can manage it.
