I've been on Dexilant 60mg for a few months now, and while it's helped with my acid reflux, I can't shake off the feeling of unease knowing the potential side effects. Has anyone else experienced any of the severe side effects like kidney problems or C. diff-associated diarrhea? I'm really hoping to hear from others who've had similar experiences. Also, for those who've been on it longer, how have you managed the potential long-term risks? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've had horrible heartburn for years and Dexilant has been a game-changer. I'm not going to worry about the side effects until I actually experience them.

I started getting really bad stomach pain after a few months on Dexilant. Turns out it was a sign of pancreatitis. Scary stuff. Get checked out if something doesn't feel right.

I tried Dexilant, but I had to stop because of severe dizziness. It was scary. Now I'm back to Prilosec, which has fewer side effects for me.

I've heard horror stories about PPIs and kidney problems. If anyone has more info on this, please share!

I think people are too quick to worry about the side effects. I've been on Dexilant for 6 months and haven't had any issues at all.

I've been on Dexilant for a year now. It's done wonders for my GERD, but the potential side effects do worry me. So far, no severe issues, just some occasional stomach pain.

I've had no major issues with Dexilant, but I do get a headache occasionally. It's a small price to pay for the relief from heartburn.

I had a bad rash and itching all over my body after starting Dexilant. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. Doctor switched me to something else and I'm fine now. Be careful, folks.

I work in a pharmacy, and I've seen a few cases of C. diff from PPIs. It's rare, but it happens. If you experience severe diarrhea, definitely go to the doctor right away.

My mom was on Dexilant and had some bone pain. Her doctor switched her to another PPI and the pain went away. Just keep an eye on those side effects, folks.
