Divalproex Delayed Release 125mg Tb: Side effects scout
I was just prescribed Divalproex Delayed Release 125mg Tb for my migraines. I've read the list of side effects and I'm a bit worried. Has anyone here taken this medication and experiencing part of the possible side effects? What did your doctor say was normal and what should be checked? I don't want to miss anything serious.

I've been on Divalproex for a while now and I've had some side effects but most of them went away. I didn't have any of those serious side effects, just the usual: dizziness, drowsiness, and sometimes a little nausea. Check in with your doctor and keep a list of any side effects you experience. Just remember, everyone's reaction to medication is different so don't be alarmed if you don't experience the same things I did.
This medication can be a game-changer for migraines, but the side effects list is scary. I'm glad I haven't had any serious issues, just the weight changes. It took a few weeks of trial and error to find the right dosage for me, so don't lose hope.
I had a terrible rash and itching at the beginning. My doctor said it was a reaction but it went away in a few days and I've been fine since.
I took this for a few weeks and the weight gain was just too much. My mood swings were also pretty bad. I had to switch to something else. Everyone is different though, so you might be fine.
I get why doctors are required to list every single possible side effect, but it can make this stuff seem scarier than it is. I'm sure there's a lot of misinformation on the internet as well. Just stick to the doctor's orders and you'll be fine.
I've been on Divalproex for about a month now and I haven't experienced any side effects so far. I actually forgot that I've been taking it because I feel absolutely normal. I hope it stays that way.
I'm really scared to try this medication because of the side effects list. I'm hoping it works for me because nothing else has. But I'm worried about those serious side effects. And I'm on the internet reading about them a lot.
I'm a pharmacist and I can tell you that side effects can vary greatly. But the list of serious ones is scary. Don't ignore any big changes, but don't jump to conclusions either. You got this.
