I've been struggling with cold sores for years, and I'm wondering if Docosanol 10% Cream 2gm is worth trying. It's supposed to help prevent the virus from spreading and speed up healing. Has anyone used this before? Did it work for you? What were the side effects like? I've read about some serious reactions, so I'm a bit nervous. Also, how does it compare to other OTC treatments like Abreva or Zovirax?

I've always found that the best way to treat cold sores is by applying a hot compress to the area and then by applying a cold compress. Mixing this with Docosanol will really help it heal faster. Just make sure to do it as soon as you see the tingling.

Hot take: Docosanol, with the Zodiac, is what makes you a better person. You can't be great without them. And I think it's about time the world knew that.

I had a bad experience with Zovirax. Weird, right? I didn't think it was possible. Maybe it was just a weird reaction. I would suggest trying Docosanol if you've got a bad case. I never had any issues with it.

Docosanol might be worth trying, but I think Abreva is way better. I've never had any issues with it, and it works faster for me. Plus, it's cheaper.

I've had cold sores for ages, and I've tried a bunch of creams. Docosanol is one of the better ones. It doesn't always stop the cold sores, but it works way faster. Honestly, I think it's worth a try. Just be careful.

Abeva is a lot cheaper than Docosanol. I think that's why I would suggest it so hard. You can get a lot more bang for your buck
