I've been prescribed Fluvastatin ER 80mg Tablets to manage my cholesterol levels, and I'm curious to hear from others who are taking it. How has it been working for you? Have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how did you deal with them? I'm especially interested in hearing from people who have been on this medication for a while. What has your experience been like? I'm hoping to learn more about what to expect as I start this new medication regimen.

I've been taking Fluvastatin ER 80mg for about 6 months. I found that taking it at night really helps with any stomach upset, and it's also helped me sleep better. It's strange but it's been a bonus for me. Just make sure to drink lots of water before bed

I had to switch to a different statin because of some crazy muscle pain. It was really scary at first, but my doctor caught it early. I wish I'd known about the possibility of side effects before starting to take this medication. I'd never want anyone to go through what I did.

I started taking this last month and have had some stomach issues. Anyone else have this problem? It's not terrible, but it's annoying.

Has anyone tried switching to a generic version? I heard it might be cheaper but I'm not sure if it's as effective.

It's funny how everyone experiences medications differently. I've been on Fluvastatin ER for years and haven't had any issues. Knock on wood...

Be sure to get your liver enzymes checked regularly if you're on this medication. I had a coworker who ended up in the hospital with some serious liver problems. It's rare, but it can happen. I've been taking this statin and my liver enzymes are checked every 6 months. So far so good.

I feel like these threads are always so negative. I’ve been on Fluvastatin for a while and I’m thankful for how well it’s worked. My cholesterol levels have been great and I haven’t had any issues.

I take a smaller dose and it's been working well. I did try the 80mg tablets but my liver enzymes started to go up so I had to switch to the 40mg version and it's been doing the trick for me.
