Does anyone have experience with Diazepam 5mg/ml Injection for anxiety or seizures?
Sharing my experience and asking about others. Recently prescribed Diazepam 5mg/ml Injection for severe anxiety. It works quickly to calm me down, but I'm curious about side effects and long-term use. Have any of you used it for seizures or muscle spasms? What are your experiences. Is it worth the risk of side effects for the benefits? It's also really important to keep an eye out for any signs of severe allergic reactions, especially when getting this through injection. I've seen a few people experience severe reactions, so sharing experiences and staying vigilant is super important.

Be careful with the injection site. I had this once, and the skin started to blister and get red, it looked like it had been badly burnt but the nurse said it was because the drug leaked from the vein.
I was prescribed it for anxiety and it helped, but I didn't have the side effects you mentioned. I was just always sleepy.
I used this in the hospital after a bad seizure. The nurse had to stop the injection twice as it was leaking from the vein. It caused a lot of pain and irritation. I think I'll avoid it in the future.
I don't understand why this injection is used for anxiety when there are other drugs. It's safer, isn't it? I mean, if I had the choice between an injection and a pill I'd choose the pill every time.
I've had hallucinations after getting the drug for muscle spasms. It was terrifying. There was no way I could have faked it; it was real and it happened. I couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't. I saw things that I know I could never see because they weren't there. The worst of it is that I don't know what it would have done if I hadn't had anyone with me
I've heard it can cause suicidal thoughts. Anyone else experience this? Feel like I'm becoming depressed rather than less anxious.
I've used it for seizures, and it works wonders. Just be careful with the side effects, especially the dizziness and fainting. Always have someone with you the first few times.
I had a bad experience with it. Ended up with severe dizziness and couldn't stop falling over again.
I've never had any issues but I know it's serious to get immediate medical help for things like trouble breathing, hallucinations, and memory problems. They're not to be ignored.
I've had the injection for muscle spasms. It helped, but the tiredness was intense. Make sure to rest afterwards
