I used Oseltamivir last year and it worked like a charm. I started feeling better within a couple of days. No side effects for me, but I did make sure to take it exactly as prescribed.
My kid had a bad reaction to this. His skin started peeling and he had a fever. We rushed him to the ER and they said it was Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Scary stuff.
Just a heads up, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking this. It's not clear if it's safe for you and your baby.
Anyone else notice that the suspension tastes absolutely awful? I had to mix it with something sweet just to get it down.
I had a horrible experience with this stuff. I started getting weird skin reactions and my doc had to switch me to something else. Just be careful and keep an eye out for any strange symptoms.
Make sure you finish the full course, even if you feel better. Stopping early can lead to a relapse and potentially more severe symptoms later. Trust me, I learned this the hard way.
I had some neurological issues. Confusion and a bit of shakiness. Scared the hell out of me, but my doc said it was rare. I reported it to the FDA, just in case.
