Doryx 75mg DR Tablets: My Experience and Side Effects
I was prescribed Doryx 75mg DR Tablets for a severe acne flare-up, and I've been taking them for about a week now. I've noticed some improvement in my skin, but I'm also experiencing some side effects that have me a bit concerned. I've heard this is an effective antibiotic for skin conditions, but I didn't expect to feel so run down. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm curious to know how others have dealt with the side effects, especially the more severe ones. Also, I am worried about the long-term effects, like raised pressure in the brain. I'll probably switch to another antibiotic when I get to that point. I know everyone responds differently to meds, but I figured more info wouldn’t hurt.

I would recommend keeping a food diary. Sometimes certain foods can exacerbate side effects, especially stomach issues.
This thread is giving me anxiety. I just started Doryx today. I hope I don’t have any of these side effects.
I took Doryx for a bad case of tonsillitis, and it worked wonders. But oh, the diarrhea! I felt like I was living in a bathroom for a week. Stick to clear liquids and bland food if you get hit with it.
I had a mild rash and itching, but it went away after a few days. I also started feeling much better once I started taking the meds, so maybe I am somewhat tolerant to it.
I've heard that taking probiotics can help with the diarrhea side effect. Might be worth a try if you're struggling with that.
