I was recently prescribed Effexor XR 37.5mg for my anxiety and panic disorder. I've been on it for about a month now, and while it's helped with my anxiety, I've experienced some side effects that have been a bit challenging. I've been dealing with excessive sweating, dizziness, and vivid dreams that make it hard to sleep. I've also noticed some weight loss, which wasn't necessarily bad but needs to be monitored. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced these side effects and how you managed them. Additionally, I've been wondering about the long-term effects of this medication. I've heard mixed reviews about venlafaxine, so I'd appreciate hearing from others who have been using Effexor XR over a longer period.

I was prescribed Effexor XR 37.5mg Capsules because of my panic disorders. I experienced some really difficult side effects when I first started, but I was able to talk to my doctor and we adjusted the dosage a bit. The side effects were tough but now I feel a lot better. Be patient and work closely with your doctor. I wish you all the best!

I've been on Effexor XR for about a year now, and I must say it's been a rollercoaster. The initial side effects were tough—dizziness, nausea, and vivid dreams that felt like nightmares. It was really challenging to keep up with work and daily activities. However, I started doing yoga and meditation which helped a lot in managing some of the symptoms. Now, I'm able to handle most of the side effects, and the medication has significantly improved my mood and anxiety levels. It's definitely worth the effort to stick with it and find what works for you.

I've been on Effexor XR for almost 2 years now, and it's been a lifesaver for my anxiety and depression. The side effects were tough at first—especially the dizziness and nausea—but they thankfully subsided after a few weeks. As for weight loss, I actually gained a bit of weight back once I adjusted my dosage and diet. I'd recommend sticking it out for a while to see if the side effects lessen over time. It's tough, but it gets better!

I was initially really scared of the side effects, but they were surprisingly manageable. I had the sweating and dizziness, but it's a lot better now. The vivid dreams were also kind of weird, but I've learned to ignore them. I think the hardest part was the fatigue, but it got better. I hope you can stick with it and see results. Keep going and take care of yourself!

I'm on my second week of Effexor XR and the side effects are brutal. I've been dealing with a lot of nausea and fatigue. The dry mouth is the worst. Has anyone found any good remedies for this? I've been sipping water constantly, but it's getting old fast. I hope this phase passes soon.

I experienced some sexual problems, and even most of the side effects have passed, but I still experience this. Is this going to be a permanent effect? I cannot say I am happy about this. I wish I knew what to do about it.

Has anyone experienced serotonin syndrome with Effexor XR? I've been really nervous about this side effect and I’m not sure what to look out for specifically. I don't want to risk it, so I’m considering switching medications.

I've been on Effexor XR for a couple of months and I find the sweating to be an issue. I often wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. Does anyone know if this is a common side effect or if there's a way to manage it? I've been using talcum powder to help control the sweating but it might be worth experimenting with some different methods to see what works best.

I had a similar experience. The sweating was the worst for me . I wore shirts that were black and had a dry fit underwear. It really helped. Unfortunately, the vivid dreams and insomnia were too much to handle. I switched to another medication and it has been working much better for me.
