I've been prescribed Esomeprazole 2.5mg DR Pwdr Pkt Susp for my acid reflux and GERD. Does anyone else use this medication? I'm curious about your experiences, particularly with side effects. While I know it's rare, the potential side effects list is quite long and concerning. Has anyone experienced anything unusual or severe? I'd love to hear some personal stories or advice on managing any issues that come up. Is it worth it? Thanks!

I noticed some muscle cramps and weakness when I started taking this. I thought I was just dehydrated at first, but it got worse over time. Turns out it was a side effect. My doctor switched me to a different medication, and I feel much better now. Just be careful.

I’ve had stomach pain and diarrhea since I started taking this. I’ve been dealing with it, but it’s annoying for sure. Just wanted to put it out there.

Honestly, I think the risks are worth it. I had severe acid reflux symptoms every night, and Esomeprazole has made a huge difference. I think you should give it a shot if your doctor recommends it. You can always stop if you experience side effects.

Seriously, if you experience any of the symptoms in the severe side effects list, go to the ER right away. Don't mess around with stuff like that. It's not worth it. I got some of the symptoms and went to the ER for precaution and I'm glad I did.

I've been on Esomeprazole for a few months now, and I've had some minor side effects like headaches and constipation, but nothing too bad. I've heard that long-term use can lead to some serious issues, so I'm planning to talk to my doctor about going off it soon. Has anyone else had long-term side effects?

I had a friend who took this and ended up with some really bad skin problems. She had to stop taking it and go to the hospital.
