I've been prescribed Fetzima 80mg Capsules for my depression, and I'm curious about others' experiences. The potential side effects listed are quite concerning, particularly the rare but severe ones. Has anyone else had issues with Fetzima? I'm particularly interested in hearing about strategies for managing side effects or tips for navigating this treatment. Thanks in advance for any insights!

Definitely keep an eye on the bleeding symptoms. I've had a weird bruise show up once a month for the last three months. I think it's from the medication, but my doctor hasn't been impressed yet. I'm not very worried about it for now, though.

I've been on Fetzima for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my depression. The side effects weren't too bad—just a bit of sweating and occasional nausea at the start. I took it slow with the dosage increase, and that seemed to help. Definitely talk to your doctor if something feels off, though!

Serotonin syndrome really isn't something to mess around with. I know somebody who had to go to the hospital because of it. Avoided that side effect, though. Mostly I just deal with increased sweating, which isn't THAT big of a deal. I just joke that I'm a walking, talking sauna. I've been on Fetzima for almost a year and have been feeling great so far.

I have experienced some severe headaches. This is especially rough because it's been a while. I've tried other drugs but can't find one that works for me long term. The headaches are the roughest of the side effects so far.

I'm glad to hear that Fetzima is working for some of you! I've been struggling with depression for years, and it's been tough finding the right medication. I'm hoping Fetzima will be the one that helps me finally get my life back on track. Any tips for managing the side effects, though? I've heard the nausea can be brutal.

My doctor warned me about serotonin syndrome, which is scary stuff. But it's really important to know the signs so you can catch it early if it happens. I'm careful about what other meds I take now because of it. I'll agree with the other poster that it's a great drug, but MY GOD, the sweating. I sweat profusely. I look like a zombie. I'm going to die if I don't get some air conditioning soon. It's like a hot summer day in Florida, except it's January and I'm in Alaska.

I switched to Fetzima from another SNRI, and the difference was night and day. I felt like my brain was finally getting the help it needed. But yeah, the sexual side effects were tough to deal with. I'm sure my partner is glad I'm feeling better, but it's still a challenge. I wish there was more focus on that in the side effect warnings.

I've had a lot of trouble with other antidepressants but Fetzima's not so bad. Bring a snack, though. Upset stomach. Nausea. Vomiting. Upset stomach. Vomiting. Sweating. The first two weeks are the worst. Stick with it and you should be fine.
